The Business of the Suffolk Parish 1558-1625 by David Dymond

The distinguished historian Dr David Dymond, Vice President and former Chair of BALH, has recently produced an excellent study, The Business of the Suffolk Parish 1558-1625.

Don’t be misled by the title. It is of much more than local Suffolk interest and provides insights into parochial life from the mid 16th to the early 17th century which will inform research in many other parts of the country.

Published by the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History and with a foreword by Prof. Diarmaid MacCulloch, this book costs £10, plus £3.50 p & p.  You can pay £13.50 by PayPal using the 'donate' button on the website of the Suffolk Institute of Archaeology and History (http:/www.suffolkinstitute.org.uk) and also emailing details of your name and address either to Jo Sear at josear@mac.com or to Nick Amor at drnickamor@icloud.com.
