Gloucester History Festival

As part of this year’s Gloucester History Festival, Gloucestershire archives service, now Gloucestershire Heritage Hub, is holding a community open day on Sunday 2 September.  If you happen to be near Gloucester, you are welcome to drop in at Clarence Row, Alvin St., GL1 3DW between 10am and 4pm. You’ll be able to see their newly refurbished archive buildings and find out about their future plans.  Car parking is available onsite for blue badge holders only – other free parking is available a short walk away, at Gloucester Rugby, courtesy of GRFC.

Gloucester History Festival runs from 1-16 September and speakers at Blackfriars Priory include Janina Ramirez, Lucy Worsley, Kate Adie, David Olusoga, Nick Barrett, Peter Hennessy, Michael Wood, Terry Waite and John Suchet.     Tickets are available online. For further details, please see:
