These documents open a panorama on the financial life of a large and relatively prosperous parish church, and, together with parish registers, illustrate the fiscal and social interactions between church and parishioners.

Exploring Heraldry in Lincolnshire’s Churches – Ian Newton
An illustrated introduction to church heraldry, revealing the families and stories behind the shields.

New Work on Old Monuments at St Wulfram’s Church, Grantham – John Manterfield
A look at recent conservation work on ten Georgian monuments, including those commemorated, the sculptors involved, and possible funding sources.
The Art of the Chapel – Revd Angy Long
An exploration of spiritual meaning in chapel architecture and stained glass, and how art reflects the idea of “the Church being People”.

Exploring Lincolnshire Churches – John Vigar
Based on research for his new book Churches of Lincolnshire, this talk looks at a selection of churches across the county, many of which do not usually attract attention.

Guided visit to St Andrew’s Church, Heckington
One of the most magnificent churches in the country, dating from around 1307 and largely Decorated in style, featuring remarkable exterior carving, a rare Easter sepulchre and fine sedilia.
