Cowbridge History Society

The Society was formed from the merger of two local societies with history at their hearts in 2013; the older of the two having been founded in October 1974.

The Society has digitised its archive and uploaded it to Peoples Collection Wales. It provides members with an annual programme of eight talks, publishes a Newsletter usually three times a year and material on Cowbridge's local history and commemorates the grant of a borough charter to the town in 1254 with an annual visit to local places of historical interest. It is a registered charity (No. 1094061) with education as its aim.
