Ten Minute Talks are short, accessible video presentations that let you share your work with a wide audience of local history enthusiasts.
They’re designed to be:
- Short (around 10 minutes)
- Clear and focused
- Easy to watch and easy to share
What do I need to do?
All you need to do is:
- Record a presentation of about 10 minutes
- This can be done very easily using PowerPoint, or any other method you prefer
- Send us the finished video

Making Your PowerPoint Ten-Minute Talk Video
That’s it.
Once it’s ready, we’ll publish it on the BALH YouTube channel, where it can reach a much wider audience than a talk in a room ever could.

Don’t worry at all.
