Natural History Section of the Leicester Literary & Philosophy Society

Leicester Literary & Philosophical Society has existed since 1835 and still arranges a regular programme of lectures on wide-ranging subjects in Science, Literature and the Arts.

The Natural History Section operates semi-independently and we hold our own talks, as well as field trips throughout the year to wildlife sites across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Our members range from beginners to local experts in particular groups of species but anyone who has an interest in nature or wildlife will be welcomed.
